| This website is a database and catalogue of products drawn from a number of selected manufacturers. Here are some notes to assist you. First of all we recommend that you register your yacht or villa, using the LOG IN / REGISTER link. This will enable you to build a shopping basket, track your orders and retrieve past orders. Under our title banner is the main menu bar, the most important item of which is the "Product index" button. Hover your mouse over this and a list of manufacturers drops down. If you select one of these you will be shown a list of tags for items supplied by that manufacturer - or if you click "Show all", all manufacturers. A tag is a word that describes an important aspect of a product, so for example if you click "potato" you'll be shown a list of potato steamers, peelers, mashers... anything to do with potatoes. Experiment for a while to see what lists appear for any given tag; some have far more results than others. Some of the tags are shown in bold; these are "primary" tags and the following page will let you refine your choice. For example, click "pot". Under the long list of products is a smaller list of tags, so if you click "milk" you'll only be shown items with the tags "pot" and "milk". Once you see an item whose title looks likely you can click the title text and you'll be shown a picture of the item, a description and prices of all its variants and accessories. You can add the item to your shopping basket, then continue to add more items in the same way. The shopping basket lets you change the quantities of each item and maintains a total cost based on the manufacturers' recommended retail prices. As a registered user your shopping basket will be saved for your future use. If you leave our site (without logging out) and return an hour, a day or even a month later the shopping basket will still be there as you left it. We do not currently accept online payments through our website. When you've added everything you need, click the "Request Order" button. We will then contact you to confirm the final price, which may be subject to special offers, to fix delivery arrangements and to take a part payment. Once your order has been accepted you can track its progress yourself using the website or email/telephone for information. |
